July 4th and Summer Events in the Bothell area:

July 04, 2012 Bothell’s Freedom Festival!                                                                                                                                                                 8:30 to 10:30am - a free Pancake Breakfast at the downtown firehouse - 10726 Beardslee Blvd.

11:15 am - the Children's Parade along Main Street and Bothell Way  - Line up on Main Street at 103^rd.   For children up to 12 years.  No motorized vehicles permitted.

 

12:00 noon - The Grand Parade along Main Street and Bothell Way (SR 527).  

This year’s parade theme is “Protecting Our Freedom -Recognizing Those Who Serve” The City of Bothell is honoring people who currently serve or have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. To support the troops, parade participants and attendees are encouraged to wear yellow ribbons.

1:00 to 4:99 pm- Beckstrom Cabin and Bothell's First School House open at the Park at Bothell Landing on the 4th of July and on Sundays in July and August. 

                                                 Fireworks in Bellevue

8:55pm "The Star-Spangled Banner" National Anthem
9:30pm The Bellevue Philharmonic takes center stage to present a special Independence Day                                                                                           performance prior to and during the fireworks display.
10:05pm The Eastside's largest and most spectacular fireworks display!

Music at the Park – Concerts take place at North Creek Sportsfield #3 (11905 North Creek Parkway) from 6:30 to 8 pm.                                                                                                          July 6:    Kings of Swing, a Puget Sound premier big band                                                                                                                                                           July 13: Creme Tangerine, Beatles tribute band                                                                                                                                                                       July 20: Bullet Creek, rockin' country from Keith Urban to Johnny Cash                                                                                                                                   July 27: Total Experience Gospel Choir, one of the Pacific Northwest's finest soulful ensembles

July 21, 2012 -  11:00AM-4:00PM Wizard Fest 2012 at Country Village a day full of charms that you're sure to find just divining. Bring the kids for wand-making, wizards, music, and more!
