Events in the Bothell area:

December 1 to December 22 at Kaewyn Gallery - Address 10101 Main St., Santa will be available for pictures. No charge, but you bring your camera and take the pictures. Times: Wed 10 – 2, Thurs. 2 -6, Fri 1 -5 and Sat. 10 – 2. Donations can be made to be given to charity.

December 1 - 24^th -10:00AM - 5:00PM Santa's Photos at Chapters Photography - A yearly photo tradition!,. Visit the Chapter's Photography Website to set up an appointment to have your Santa pictures taken in true Chapter's fashion. 

December 15- 16 | 12:00PM-3:00PM Country Village - Fun with Frosty at Country Village  Meet Frosty the Snowman and enjoy a magic show, craft project, fun & games.  Pony rides (weather permitting) and train rides.

December 20 Family Night Out at Country Village - A Christmas Carol  An adaptation of Dickens’ classic tale performed by 2 actors (Chris & Sarah) with audience participation! Fun for the whole family! (Ages 5 & up) Dec 20 -2pm & 7pm

December 31, 2012 – Happy New Year’s Eve. Drive carefully and nominate an alcohol – free driver for your end of the year fun. We want to see you in the new year !

Bothell City Council and Planning Commission news:

Bothell's current two-year budget cycle is coming to an end, which means it's time to establish the budget for the next two years.  The last meeting to give input about the budget is  December 1, which is the date scheduled for the adoption of the budget.

December 1, 2012 -Santa's Arrival at Country Village - 10:00AM -9:00PM There will be caroling throughout the day and hot roasted chestnuts starting at 4pm while supplies last. A traditional Christmas tree lighting follows Santa's landing. Find gifts, decor, and decorating ideas from all your favorite shops and enjoy our animated light displays including our 40 foot sea serpent, giant dragonfly and fiddling pig.

Holiday magic returns to NPAC with this classic seasonal favorite. Emerald Ballet Theatre performs to the beloved music of Tchaikovsky. Adults $35

December 6,^, 2012, 5 to 8 pm Family Night Out -  a family production of A Christmas Carol by Adventure Childrens' Theater at Courtyard Hall. Followed by a festive parade to our complimentary gift-wrapping, hot chocolate and cider station.

December 8 – 9, 2012 - 12:00PM-3:00PM  Country Village -Cookies with Mrs Claus sample one of her free cookies collect annual cookie recipes from participating shops.

December 13 | 4:00PM-8:00PM – Country Village - Ladies Night Out  Enjoy a fun night out with your friends under our holiday lights. Shops will offer discounts, refreshments and last minute gift ideas for everyone on your list.
